18 August, Minsk /BELTA/. The list of documents based on which a notary can make an executive inscription, granting the right to recover debts under economic contracts without going to court, has been supplemented in Belarus. The corresponding decision was made by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of 16 August 2016, BELTA was informed by the government's press service.

"The Resolution supplements the list of documents based on which a notary can make an executive inscription for the recovery of debts under sub-lease agreements for movable property, rental payments under sub-lease agreements for non-residential premises, subcontracts, and obligations to reimburse costs for consumed electricity, water, thermal energy, and others," the press service explained.

Creditors will also be able to apply for an executive inscription for obligations related to assignment of claims and transfer of debt.

As explained by Artur Strekh, assistant to the Chairman of the Belarusian Notary Chamber, these measures will help reduce the burden on courts, simplify the document review process, and shorten the debt recovery periods for creditors.

The Resolution enters into force after its official publication.-0-
