December 3rd marks the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a day when we join forces to support and express respect for all people with disabilities.
The purpose of this day is to promote the rights of persons with disabilities in all spheres of public life, as well as to draw the attention of the general public to the problems faced by persons with disabilities.
Lepel District is home to remarkable people – full of spirit and resilience, who inspire us with their example. You overcome difficulties, face challenges, and continue to move forward, showing us that true strength lies not in the absence of obstacles, but in the ability to overcome them.
I sincerely thank everyone who offers warmth, support, and assistance to people with disabilities: parents, volunteers, social workers, educators, doctors, and specialists of the Lepel Public Association of Disabled Persons. Special words of respect go to those who care for children with disabilities, helping them grow up educated, in demand, and confident in their future.
From the bottom of my heart, I wish all residents of Lepel District who need constant support, and all fellow countrymen who are not indifferent to them and their problems, happiness, well-being, faith in their own strength, and the realisation of all their plans and dreams. May you only encounter kind and responsive people on your path!
Sincerely, Mikhail Kiselevich, Chairman of the Lepel District Executive Committee
