Early voting at polling stations in Lepel

For reference: today at noon sharp, 5,325 polling stations across Belarus opened their doors to the first voters – and 56,550 members of precinct election commissions began their work in a political campaign crucial for any state.

656 polling stations will operate in the Vitebsk region during the early voting period from January 21 to 25.

852,000 people are included in the voter lists in the Vitebsk region (according to initial data from the Central Election Commission).

The LC journalist captured the work of polling station No. 5, located in the building of the "Lepel MKC" branch. Veronika Khombak, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, arrived here to cast her vote for the country's future.

And polling station No. 3, located on the premises of Secondary School No. 1. One of the first to cast his vote for the future of his native Belarus at this station was Viktor Azaronok, a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
