The weather is not being kind – it's raining and dark on the roads. In such conditions, the risk of accidents increases, so we remind you:
Reduce your speed. Wet asphalt increases the braking distance by 2–3 times. It is better to arrive 5 minutes late than not to arrive at all.Turn on your low beam headlights. This not only improves your visibility but also makes you more noticeable to others.
Maintain a safe distance. Do not tailgate the car in front of you – in an emergency, this can save your nerves, your car, and your life.
Be especially attentive at pedestrian crossings. Pedestrians in dark clothing are almost invisible in the rain. Reduce your speed in advance.
Put your phone away. No message is worth distracting yourself from the road in these conditions.
Check the condition of your tires and windscreen wipers. Worn tires and poor visibility are a direct path to an accident.
