4 October, Lepel /Own. inf./. With the heating season approaching, the issue of fuel procurement, in particular firewood and peat briquettes, becomes relevant for the residents of the city and district. Many townspeople and villagers turn to the city fuel supply service. This year, the norm for selling fuel at preferential prices has been maintained. Thus, owners of households not connected to central heating and not supplied with gas are entitled to purchase 5.6 cubic meters of firewood at a significant discount.
This volume of two-meter firewood will cost 435 thousand roubles, sawn firewood – 645 thousand, and chopped firewood – 805 thousand. In all cases, the prices are indicated including loading and delivery within the city. Delivery to villages will naturally be slightly more expensive due to the longer transport distance.
Since January 1st, 1099 applications for firewood have been registered, with 1006 fulfilled by the day of the interview. All remaining applicants have been contacted to reconfirm their needs, volume, and address. Some requested to postpone delivery for various reasons, while others confirmed. Firewood will be delivered to all those in need in the very near future. It is supplied to the enterprise from both the forest industry enterprise and the forestry enterprise.
Since the beginning of the year, 600 applications for peat briquettes have been received, and 430 have been fulfilled. By the end of September, a wagon of briquettes will arrive in Lepel, with five more arriving throughout October. Each wagon accounts for 14 fulfilled applications. Briquette deliveries will also be made in November and January, so no one will be left without fuel. The preferential quota is 4.5 tonnes of peat briquettes per household per year, which can be purchased at 148,600 roubles per tonne plus loading and delivery services.
In addition, if citizens consider that the preferential fuel is insufficient, they can order additional firewood and peat briquettes, in which case they will have to pay their full cost. For example, 5.6 cubic meters of two-meter firewood will cost 960 thousand roubles, and a tonne of briquettes will cost 367,900 roubles.
There are no problems with fuel supply or delivery to consumers; applications are fulfilled within two to three days. A wagon of peat briquettes is delivered to consumers within a day.
