The harvesting of the "second bread" is in full swing in the district. As of September 19, potatoes have been dug and harvested from more than 42 percent of the fields. We remind you that the following farms are engaged in potato cultivation in the Lepel region: the State Agricultural Experimental Station "Lepel Sortostantsiya" (35 ha), OJSC "Chareyshchina" (125 ha), and OJSC "Ladna" (30 ha). At the Sortostantsiya, potatoes have been dug from 28 hectares, with a gross yield of 286 tons and a productivity of 102 c/ha. OJSC "Chareyshchina" shows slightly better production indicators. From 32.9 hectares dug, 426 tons were harvested, with a productivity of 129 c/ha. At OJSC "Ladna", 18 hectares have been dug, 195 tons of potatoes have been harvested, with a productivity of 108 c/ha.
