The accident occurred on April 29 at 14:50 on the 144th kilometre of the M-3 "Minsk - Vitebsk" highway near the village of Rudnya.

According to preliminary information, a driver born in 1984, driving a Volkswagen Passat, entered the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Skoda Kodiaq travelling in the opposite direction.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Volkswagen died at the scene from the injuries sustained, while a 6-year-old passenger, the driver of the Skoda, and an 8-year-old passenger travelling with him were taken to a healthcare facility.
