21 May, Vitebsk /BELTA/. Two hospitality facilities will be opened in the Braslav district of the Vitebsk region in the Year of Hospitality, the Deputy Chairperson of the Braslav District Executive Committee for Economy, Valentina Vysotskaya, told a BELTA correspondent.

Miory Private Trade Unitary Enterprise "Nika - Prestige" is implementing a project to build a three-star hotel complex in Braslav. The Braslav Lakes Hotel complex includes 16 residential rooms, 8 bungalow-type rooms, and 3 detached hunter and fisherman lodges. The main residential building also houses a restaurant hall, a beer bar, and a cafe. A beach has been equipped.

Finishing works are in the final stage, and equipment installation and testing are underway. About 200 resumes of future employees are under consideration, and up to 30 jobs will be created in total.

According to the design documents, the volume of attracted investments is Br3.5 billion, of which Br2.2 billion has already been utilized. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in June, and the complex will start receiving guests in July of the current year.

The second project is the construction of the "Lesnaya Polyana" agro-ecotourism complex on the shore of Lake Volos in the Plyussky rural council, implemented by the Russian investor Industrial-Consulting Group LLC. The project is also in the final stage: 5 cottage-type houses, 2 bathhouses, and a multifunctional building housing a cafe and other service facilities have been erected. It is planned to attract $2.5 million in investments, of which slightly less than half has been utilized. The complex is scheduled to be put into operation in September of this year.

Valentina Vysotskaya noted that there are several other interesting projects. For example, "Usadby i Zamki" LLC is interested in the reconstruction of an old estate in Ops. It is planned not only to restore the count's house but also to build a modern hotel and create a recreation center. "We hope for the implementation of a project to build a sanatorium in the vicinity of the village of Vidzy-Lovchinskie. These places have natural sapropel deposits and a source of hydrogen sulfide mineral water. In tsarist times, there was a health resort here," the interlocutor said. "We would like this source to be used: to bring income to the district and health to the sanatorium guests."
