Twelve people have been hospitalised as a result of an accident in the Senno district, Elena Vysotskaya, Deputy Chief Physician for Medical Affairs at the Senno Central District Hospital, informed a BELTA correspondent. Three of the injured are in serious condition, two of them with combined head injuries, another three sustained moderate injuries, and the rest are in satisfactory condition with minor injuries. A team of 10 Vitebsk specialists, including neurosurgeons, surgeons, traumatologists, and resuscitators, was promptly dispatched to Senno to provide assistance to the victims. One of the seriously injured patients has undergone surgery. The discharge of some patients with minor injuries will begin on 4 October; meanwhile, all victims are receiving psychological assistance in addition to medical care, as they are in a state of shock, Elena Vysotskaya added. The accident occurred this morning around 7:30 AM on the 4th km of the Senno-Beshenkovichi-Ushachi road near the village of Korolevichi. The driver of an Audi A8, born in 1990, collided with a GAZ-53 Volgar bus carrying people to their workplace while overtaking. As a result of the collision, the bus overturned. -0-
