From March 19 to 26, the State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI) will hold the preventive campaign "Follow the Rules of the Road!".
The event is aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving cyclists and individuals using personal mobility devices. During the preventive event, state traffic inspectors will conduct raids to monitor pedestrian crossings and cycle crossings, and will organise effective control over compliance with traffic regulations by cyclists and pedestrians using personal mobility devices, as well as by drivers regarding the provision of right-of-way to pedestrians and cyclists.
GAI officers will visit work collectives to remind them of the causes and consequences of road accidents, with a particular focus on compliance with traffic regulations and personal safety when using bicycles and personal mobility devices.
Preventive work will be organised in children's and parents' chats, and on social media.
