5 January, Vitebsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. A unified list of unused and inefficiently used property owned by the Vitebsk region and its administrative-territorial units is being compiled in the region, Deputy Director of the Vitebsk Regional Territorial Fund of State Property "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" Maxim Divak told a BELTA correspondent.
The list will include facilities owned by both the region and the cities and districts. Previously, each administrative-territorial unit compiled its own list. According to Maxim Divak, the creation of a unified database will improve the state property management system and provide broader information to business circles about unused facilities. The list is expected to be prepared and approved by mid-February of the current year and will be made publicly available on the website of "Vitebskoblimushchestvo".
Work on the list is being carried out in accordance with Decree No. 294 of 4 July 2012 "On the Procedure for Disposal of State Property", which instructs regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee to determine the procedure and conditions for compiling a list of unused and inefficiently used property owned by the respective administrative-territorial units, and to ensure annually the involvement in economic circulation of property located within their territory and included in the list.
According to preliminary data, in 2012, 262 facilities were involved in economic circulation in the Vitebsk region, which amounted to 78% of the total number to be involved. Buyers were found for 124 facilities, thanks to which local budgets received Br4.4 billion. The utilisation rate of property owned by the administrative-territorial units of the region as of October 1 was 97.9%. -0-
