"The President is prepared to engage in dialogue with everyone. We have a clear plan to continue this work, irrespective of any challenges. It is important for us to be heard in all regions and all countries. We will allocate time for this. We have entered an era of unprecedented openness. Therefore, we will engage in dialogue with everyone," stated the Press Secretary.
Natalia Eismont noted that this year has seen a significant increase in interest in interviews from foreign media outlets. This is partly influenced by the intensity of the information agenda and an overwhelming number of news triggers. The Press Secretary observed that while a few years ago a particular news trigger or a critical moment might have become the event of the week or month, nowadays such occurrences follow one another, sometimes overlapping within a few hours.
"We are continuously being swept by these waves of information. And, of course, amidst this fantastic race for information, it was and remains necessary for us to ensure that we are heard by all," said the Press Secretary. "Therefore, we certainly picked up the pace at some point and decided to communicate as much as possible, despite the President's very demanding schedule."
Natalia Eismont also highlighted that interviews are considerably more challenging than other daily events involving the President, regardless of their diversity. "It's not like work during a meeting or an encounter with activists. An interview demands a tremendous emotional commitment. Especially when the President understands that the person opposite him is following a script, with no room for deviation. Yet, he needs to reach that person, and through them, the audience they represent," explained the Press Secretary.
