The X International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects" will be held in Vitebsk on July 15-16, as reported by Irina Makarenko, Director of the State Communal Unitary Enterprise "Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center".
The forum is a traditional platform for presenting the potential of enterprises and districts of the Vitebsk region. Therefore, it is no coincidence that this year, for the first time, the territory of FEZ "Vitebsk" has been chosen as the venue for the region's main economic event. This is one of the main growth points of the region, whose preferential regime creates favorable conditions for attracting advanced technologies and production, noted Irina Makarenko. The central theme of the forum will be import substitution in the implementation of innovative projects. This year, the organizers have planned the business program in such a way as to provide maximum assistance to economic entities in adapting to working under sanctions restrictions by providing expertise on emerging opportunities, and searching for new cooperation models and technological solutions.
Taking into account the experience of 2021, the events will be held in a combined offline and online format, with a preference given to organizing face-to-face communication between participants as the most effective form of interaction, explained Irina Makarenko. In addition, holding the forum during the days of the international arts festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will be an additional factor contributing to the increased effectiveness of the business event, she added.
Traditionally, the forum will open with a plenary session, which will feature speeches by the heads of the Vitebsk region, partner regions, and leading enterprises from various sectors. Panel discussions will be organized on topical issues such as modern tools for increasing exports, the cluster development model, and the role of the education system in creating innovations.
