President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a working meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov on September 6, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"The China direction is a personal responsibility. The second issue is import substitution. The third issue is the flow of finances for supplied products. This is a known topic. That is, the economic and financial bloc, how the National Bank here helps our enterprises – and the government too – with the unimpeded flow of payments, financial resources for supplied products," the head of state immediately outlined the topics for discussion.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that there are no unsolvable problems in all these issues. "I need letters, I need a resolution of the issue," he stressed. "People have asked for help – help must be provided. People know how to sell products and receive money for them, but some do not. And if someone does not want to work in this situation, you must also submit appropriate proposals."

The President also inquired of the First Deputy Prime Minister how some Belarusian enterprises are operating under sanctions pressure. "According to reports, some are doing worse, some are doing better, but problems are being solved," he noted.
