1 November, Minsk /Anna Kot - BELTA/. The price of electrical and thermal energy for the population of Belarus will increase by 7% and 9% respectively from November 1. This decision is contained in Resolution No. 1459 of the Council of Ministers dated October 31, 2011, the press service of the Belarusian government informed a BELTA correspondent. According to the document, the tariff for thermal energy for heating and hot water supply needs has been increased by approximately 9% - from Br49,333.8 per 1 Gcal to Br53,773. Tariffs for electrical energy have increased by an average of 7%. The resolution amends Resolution No. 138 of the Council of Ministers dated February 4, 2011 "On establishing tariffs for housing maintenance services for the population, prices and tariffs for utility services, and some measures to streamline settlements for these services".-0-
