"Trees of Our Country"

As part of the republican project "Yolki Nashai Krainy" (Our Country's Christmas Trees), each district prepared 5 Christmas tree ornaments that introduce the folk artistic crafts of the region, contain historical and cultural themes, and reflect the achievements of their region (city).

The set had to include an ornament depicting the coat of arms of the region (city). The best ornaments were presented on the Christmas tree from the Vitebsk region at the republican events within the framework of the "Nashi Deti" (Our Children) campaign.

The Christmas tree ornaments from the Lepel Center for Children and Youth (teacher Shaitor-Khovanskaya S.V., trainees of the OPI "Zhar-ptitsa" [Firebird]) were part of the overall composition. Following the results of the republican project, trainees from the Centers for Children and Youth of the Vitebsk region were awarded a II degree diploma.
