All age groups of the population are involved in the epidemic process; however, the main proportion of citizens with newly detected virus are people over 30 years old. 88.2% of the HIV cases registered in January-February 2022 are individuals over 30 years old.

The risk of HIV transmission via parenteral route (intravenous drug use) is 16.1%.
In the overall structure of HIV-infected individuals, men prevail (60.7%), with women accounting for 39.3%. The proportion of women involved in the epidemic process of HIV infection for January-February 2022 was 36.2%.
In the social structure of newly identified HIV-infected individuals in January-February 2022, 46.6% were workers and employees, and 36.6% were individuals without a defined occupation.
