Fake Boss: fraudsters impersonate managers to extort money from employees

How the scheme works:

- Creation of a fake account using the photo and data of a real manager
- Notification of an "urgent inspection" with a demand for secrecy
- Use of deepfakes (AI voice) and forged documents
- Demand for money transfer to a "secure account" or handover to a courier

Employees of education, healthcare, and trade most often fall victim to the scheme.

How to avoid falling victim:
- Check contacts: if "Add/Block" buttons appear in the chat, it's a new number
- Immediately call the manager back using a number you know
- Do not act under pressure, discuss the situation with colleagues
- Remember: managers do not resolve financial issues via messengers

- Do not let scammers manage your funds!
