23 September, Vitebsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Falsification of the ongoing elections in Belarus is impossible. This conclusion was reached by the Deputy Chairman of the Tula Regional Duma, CIS observer Sergey Kondratenko.
"A large number of national and international observers monitoring the election campaign make falsification of the vote impossible," he stated. According to him, the number of observers at polling stations ranged from 4 to 12 people. Moreover, in conversations with CIS observers, none of them, including representatives of party structures, expressed any remarks.
During the monitoring of more than 10 precinct election commissions of the Vitebsk-Chkalovsky Electoral District No. 18, the Tula deputy noted the high organisation of the elections. "We did not identify a single violation of electoral legislation, neither during the observation of early voting nor during the work on the main voting day," noted Sergey Kondratenko.
The observer also noted that voters make an informed choice. "Upon receiving a ballot paper, people re-familiarise themselves with the candidate materials, which indicates their interest and engagement," he added. -0-
