The XXII International Organ Music Festival "Zvany Safii" will be held in Polotsk from October 29 to December 3, BELTA was informed by the National Polotsk Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.

Musicians from Belarus, Germany, Russia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Poland will take part in the Polotsk festival, the concerts of which are held in the concert hall of St. Sophia Cathedral. The programme features six concert programmes of various musical genres.

The festival will open with a concert featuring the renowned Polotsk organist Ksenia Pogorela, musicians of the chamber orchestra "Europa-Center" (conductor - Rail Sadykov), and soloists of the National Academic Grand Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belarus. The celebration of organ music will continue with a performance by the German musician Nikolai Gershak. The programme includes concerts by Russian performer Tatyana Suchkova-Gavrilova (mezzo-soprano), People's Artist of Abkhazia Marina Shamba (organ), Dutch organist Albert Visserhof, and Swedish musician Jörgen Lindström. "Zvany Safii" will conclude with Mateusz Rzewuski from Poland and the musical chapel "Sonorus".
