27 June, Vitebsk /Alena Tikhonova - BELTA/. The rural tourism festival "Zaborski Fest" will be held in the Rossony district on 29 June. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Rossony District Executive Committee.

The festival programme includes a craft fair with master classes in various types of folk art and an exhibition-sale of products made at agro-estates. In addition, the folk vocal and choreographic ensemble "Svyatsitsa" and the exemplary folklore collective "Nezhachki" will perform at the event.

The main event of the forum will be the presentation of rural estates and the tourism potential of the Rossony district. Estate owners, representatives of tourism companies and local authorities will take part in the round table "Innovative approaches in the field of agro-ecotourism".

Participants and guests of the festival will go on kayak and raft trips along the water excursion and educational routes of Lakes Volobo, Sinsha, Ostrovtsy, and visit the partisan life museum in the village of Rovnoye Pole. A theatrical performance "In War, as in War" will be organised here.

The first rural tourism festival was held in the Rossony district in 2005 on the initiative of the owners of the "Krollova Khata" estate, Alexander Kroll, and the "Khoren" estate, Alla Khoren. -0-
