The XXXIII Open Festival of Author's Song, Poetry and Visual Arts "Vitebsky Listopad" will be held from October 17-20 in the regional center, BELTA was informed at the Vitebsk Culture Center.
The forum will bring together musicians, poets, artists and performers. Representatives from Belarus, Israel, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, New Zealand, Russia, the USA and Ukraine will take part in it.
The competition of author's song, poetry and visual arts will be held in six nominations: "Poetry. Free Theme", "Poetry. Poems for Children", "Author's Song. Classics", "Author's Song. Alternative", "Performance Skills. Vocal" and "Performance Skills. Poetic Recitation".
The gala concert and the award ceremony for the winners will take place on October 19. Musicians Ksenia Polteva and Grigory Danskoy (Moscow) will be the special guests of the evening.
The program of "Vitebsky Listopad" includes several non-competitive concerts, a solo exhibition by Alexey Kravchenko "The Free Wandering of the Heart". Also, during the festival, a "Street Cafe" will operate in the foyer of the Vitebsk Concert Hall – a venue for musical and poetic performances.
