The Lepel Physical Culture and Health Centre became the venue for a bright and inspiring event on September 16 – a sports festival dedicated to the Day of National Unity.

On September 16, the Lepel Physical Culture and Recreation Centre became the venue for a vibrant and inspiring event – a sports festival dedicated to the Day of National Unity, one of the youngest state holidays of sovereign Belarus.

Representatives of political parties and public organisations participated in the event.

The activists were welcomed by Veronika Khomchak, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, Chairperson of the Lepel District Organisation of the NGO "Belarusian Women's Union".

A rich competition programme was prepared for the participants: relays, running and jumping contests, team games – everything that allows demonstrating agility and speed, as well as fostering team spirit and unity.

All participants showed commendable results, demonstrating teamwork, cohesion, physical endurance, and strength of spirit.

In a hard-fought and fair competition, the winner was… friendship! All participants received a gift of a swimming pool pass!
