The III Forum of Youth Scientific Societies of CIS Countries will be held today at the Vitebsk State Medical University, the university informed a BELTA correspondent.
The Vitebsk Medical University will once again provide a platform for strengthening scientific and business cooperation among young scientists from CIS countries. The forum will help to meet like-minded individuals and establish contacts, and young people will be able to discuss the prospects of innovation and investment in medical research. Young scientists, teachers, postgraduate students, students, and specialists in youth work organisation from Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Russia are expected to participate – over 100 people in total.
The programme, in particular, includes a round table on increasing youth motivation for scientific activities in universities, seeking investment in science, sharing experience, international scientific internships, and grants. "The forum is part of the programme of the XVIII International Conference of Students and Young Scientists 'Student Medical Science of the 21st Century'. This year it will be held on 14-15 November and will operate in 14 sections. A collection of reports from the conference and the forum has been prepared for publication," the university noted.
The event is organised by the Council of Young Scientists and the Student Scientific Society of VSMU, as well as the Skolkovo Open University.
