On October 17, the "Clean Games" environmental event was held in the Shpili forest park, organised by the Vitebsk City Executive Committee in conjunction with the Inspectorate for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, and the Vitebsk City Committee of the BRSM NGO.

"Clean Games" is not just a clean-up, but an engaging competition where teams competed in collecting and sorting waste, earning points for each bag collected.

Despite the inclement weather, the event brought together dozens of active young people who care about the state of the environment. According to the organisers, the event is designed not only to clear the forest park of litter but also to enhance the environmental literacy of young people, teaching them to sort waste correctly and to treat nature with care.

Participants of the event, students from MITSO University, enthusiastically embraced the idea of the event and noted that such initiatives should be held more often to maintain cleanliness in the city and draw public attention to environmental issues.

– Even the rainy weather did not prevent us from doing a good deed today, – shared one of the participants. – We not only collected a lot of rubbish but also received a boost of positive emotions.
