The functioning of the market in the city of Lepel in accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 686, as well as compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards, were checked today by competent specialists.

The main specialist of the economic department of the district executive committee Yulia Shkirando and the assistant hygienist of the state institution "Lepel District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology" Olga Khatskevich visited the market rows.

The organization of the market's operation, equipment requirements, the procedure for selling goods at trading places, the procedure for allocating trading places, compliance with temperature regimes, the quality of products sold, and the provision of accurate information about goods and their prices to consumers – compliance with the rules by sellers and market administration in these and other areas were studied by the responsible persons.

All identified violations were recorded, and their elimination has been taken under control.
