The traffic police department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs summed up the results of the "Attention - Children!" campaign.

A special comprehensive event was held in the country from August 25 to September 5. During this period, all vehicles were required to travel with their low beam headlights or daytime running lights (if equipped) on during daylight hours.

During the campaign, 63 instances of driving without low beam headlights or daytime running lights on during daylight hours were detected, as well as:

▪️Failure to yield to pedestrians – 20 cases;
▪️Violation of overtaking rules – 4 cases;
▪️Violation of passenger transportation rules – 8 cases;
▪️Driving under the influence of alcohol – 3 cases;
▪️Driving without a license – 10 cases.

No road traffic accidents involving minors occurred during the special comprehensive event.
