Movement shall be carried out on a bicycle path, and in its absence - on the shoulder, sidewalk or pedestrian path, without creating obstacles for pedestrians. In the absence of the specified road elements, cyclists are allowed to move along the roadway in a single line no further than one meter from its right edge.

In the dark or in conditions of poor visibility, a bicycle must be equipped with a white light at the front and a red light at the rear. The cyclist must wear clothing with reflective inserts.

Cyclists are now permitted to ride across pedestrian crossings without dismounting, as was previously required, but must move at a walking pace and ensure their passage is safe beforehand.

Carrying children is permitted only in a child seat with leg restraints and only when wearing a bicycle helmet, provided the child is no older than 7 years old.
