Parents should remind children of the procedure for crossing the roadway.
Even on a green traffic light and especially at an unregulated pedestrian crossing, one must stop at the edge of the roadway and look around. Having made sure that drivers have stopped, the pedestrian can begin to cross the roadway. Upon reaching the middle, they should again make sure that the cars have stopped and are letting them pass.
A child should know that they should not suddenly run out onto the road, including at crossings. In courtyards, before entering the roadway, it is necessary to look out from behind objects that restrict visibility and make sure there are no moving vehicles.
If you see that a child you don't know is unsure and cannot cross the road on their own, help them. Remember that the model of behavior on the road your child chooses depends solely on you. Be an example of correct and safe participation in road traffic!
