With the arrival of the spring period, the regional State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI) has intensified control over agricultural machinery of enterprises and organizations of the agro-industrial complex.
GAI officers are conducting information and explanatory work in agro-industrial complex organizations, checking the readiness of machinery for field work, monitoring the timeliness of state technical inspections, and verifying the completeness of machinery with components and assemblies that affect safe operation on public roads. In addition, the serviceability of external lighting devices provided for by the design of trailed units and mounted equipment is being monitored.
The physical condition of drivers and the provision of agricultural workers with work clothing with retroreflective elements are also not overlooked by the GAI. These components not only affect the course of sowing and the future harvest but also the safety of all road users without exception.
