The traffic police of the Vitebsk region continues targeted work on the prevention and suppression of gross violations of traffic rules.

The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds: for driving under the influence of alcohol, the measure of administrative penalty depends on the concentration of alcohol in the blood or its vapours in the exhaled air: from 0.3 to 0.8 per mille – 100 base units with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for three years; over 0.8 per mille – 200 base units with deprivation of the right to engage in certain activities for five years.
