An event titled "Safety in Every Home!" was held at the District Center for Children's Creativity. More than 60 young residents of Lepel took part in it.
Rescuers also do not forget to visit the homes of participants of the Great Patriotic War, as well as lonely and elderly citizens of the town and district. Recently, this work has been intensified in connection with the "Patronage Assistance!" campaign. This category of elderly citizens was explained the fire safety requirements, the necessity of their strict compliance, and advice was given on solving specific problems. Some of our fellow countrymen were even assisted in cleaning their households and adjacent territories. Students of the Yerashov Gymnasium, Victoria Alisevich and Valentin Shamanidi, did not stand aside from this important cause.
From March 1 to April 1 of the current year, a month-long campaign to prevent fires and other emergencies, and the resulting loss of life, is being held in the town and district. During this period, employees of the District Department for Emergency Situations will inspect the households of lonely elderly citizens, disabled people, large families, and individuals who abuse alcohol, as they are the primary victims of fire.
