The Prosecutor General's Office of Belarus has prepared proposals to encourage conscientious obligated persons, Deputy Prosecutor General of Belarus Aleksei Stuk told a BELTA correspondent. According to him, the incentive measures concern obligated persons who do not violate labor discipline, conscientiously perform their work duties, behave responsibly in their non-working hours, and have no current arrears in reimbursement of funds for the maintenance of children under state care. In particular, it is proposed to provide such citizens with the opportunity to extend their annual leave (currently seven days), as well as to write off part of their existing debt. "At the same time, for obligated persons who are absent from work without leave, the Prosecutor General's Office proposes to introduce administrative liability by way of arrest as a preventive measure," said Aleksei Stuk, explaining that currently, criminal liability measures are provided only for obligated persons who have been absent from work for ten days or more. These and a number of other proposals to improve the implementation of Decree No. 18 "On Additional Measures for State Protection of Children in Unfavorable Families" will be considered on November 29 at a meeting of the working group on fulfilling the assignments of the Head of State, given following the meeting on improving the activities of the prosecutor's bodies. The working group is headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatol Tozik. Aleksei Stuk held a personal reception of citizens today at the Vitebsk carriage depot of Belarusian Railway. "In most cases, we have to deal with social problems.
