The Prosecutor General's Office draws the attention of citizens to the inadmissibility of violating legislation on mass events, the department's press service informed a BELTA correspondent. The Prosecutor General's Office notes that information containing calls to participate in unsanctioned mass events is being disseminated on various websites on the Internet. The department reminded that the prosecutor's office has repeatedly drawn the attention of citizens to the need for strict compliance with the norms of national legislation on mass events, which is characteristic of any legal state. "We call on citizens not to succumb to provocative calls and to refrain from participating in illegal actions," the Prosecutor General's Office stated, adding that those guilty of organizing or participating in illegal mass events may be held liable in accordance with the law. The Prosecutor General's Office added that the department has already issued an official warning about the inadmissibility of violating legislation to activists of one of the public associations.-0-
