The event took place in the cosy hall of the Liozno Cultural and Health Centre, where the district leadership, parents, children, and representatives of OJSC "BelVitunipharm" gathered for tea. OJSC "BelVitunipharm" is the management company of OJSC "Adamenki," where most of the residents of the town of the same name are employed.
– I have two daughters myself, one of whom is already studying at university, and the other, like your children, is going back to school this year. Therefore, I understand how much time and money is needed to prepare children for the start of the academic year, – noted Aleksandr Subbotin. – I hope that the gifts and certificates we presented today with OJSC "BelVitunipharm" will help prepare the children for school.
The head of the region also noted that during the summer, educational institutions throughout the region traditionally undergo large-scale preparations for the start of the academic year. Funds for school repairs, renovation of classrooms, purchase of equipment, and family support are allocated from the republican, regional, and district budgets, with assistance also provided by various organisations.
– We have five children in our family, three of whom are minors, and two of them need to be kitted out for school, so this process is always a financially demanding undertaking for us. However, thanks to the support we have received today, we are almost ready for school; we only need to buy shoes and autumn outerwear, – said Nadezhda Kulakova. – We are looking forward to the start of the academic year, and of course, we will celebrate September 1.
Lyubov and Vladimir Bondarev arrived at the meeting with their three children, the youngest of whom, Roman, had just turned one month old. The couple thanked the distinguished guests for their support and noted that the children are eagerly awaiting the start of the academic year. Their eldest daughter, Polina, a tenth-grader, is transferring to a new school, and their middle son, Viktor, celebrates his birthday on September 1 and will be starting the 4th grade.
– I really want to go to school; I have already missed my teachers and classmates. My school bag is packed with notebooks, books, and writing supplies, – said Viktor Bondarev. – On September 1, I will come to school as I should – in a suit, with a tie, and with flowers.
