Today, in Glubokoye, the building of Fire and Rescue Station No. 1 was opened in a solemn ceremony after major repairs.
The event, which is important for the district, was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Vladimir Yurgevich, the Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, Major General of Internal Service Vadim Sinyavsky, and the Member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Head of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Colonel of Internal Service Sergey Meleshkin. Representatives of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, the construction organization, students from a specialized class in life safety, veterans of emergency services and units, representatives of the clergy, and residents of the town also took part in the ceremony.
Traditionally, the symbolic ribbon was cut at the entrance to the renovated building, and the keys were handed over to the hosts. The speakers warmly congratulated the personnel of the District Department for Emergency Situations on this event. Minister for Emergency Situations Vadim Sinyavsky presented jubilee medals "170 Years of Fire Service of Belarus", certificates of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, and letters of appreciation to the most distinguished employees.
