On April 22, Vitebsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Open Joint Stock Company "Gluboksky Dairy and Canned Food Plant" invested over Br27 billion in fixed capital in the first quarter, the enterprise informed a BELTA correspondent. Several major investment projects are planned for implementation this year. In particular, the plant intends to acquire a line for the production of sterilized milk in "Tetra-Brik Aseptic" cartons of 0.5-1 l with a capacity of 7 thousand packages per hour, reconstruct the tin can workshop and create a production facility for new types of tin cans, as well as acquire a Polpak machine for filling and packaging viscous liquids in doy-pack bags with a device for attaching a spout in the corner of the bag. The total cost of these re-equipment works is estimated at almost Br80 billion. Another investment project will enable the enterprise to generate its own electricity and meet almost half of its production needs, thereby saving considerable funds. For this purpose, the plant intends to purchase and install a cogeneration unit costing Br7.8 billion. To expand the range of products manufactured, Gluboksky Dairy and Canned Food Plant plans to allocate about Br160 billion this year for the reconstruction of its branch in Braslav. Equipment for the production of hard cheeses, soft cream cheese, and curd creams will be purchased here.
