The ranks of the "thousand-tonners" have been replenished. The significant production benchmark of one thousand tons of threshed grain has been overcome by the crews of Ruslan Grabovenka and Andrey Kulakov from OJSC "Chareyshchina" and Sergey Kostiukovich and Alexander Misnik from SVF "Zaazerye".
During the harvest, the crews worked almost in parallel, with a gap of no more than ten to fifteen tons between them. The Zaazerye combine operators intended to push harder in the final days, but the machinery couldn't keep up, and the combine broke down for half a day.
The Head of the District Agricultural Department, Vasily Charednik, the Chairman of the District Committee of the Agro-Industrial Complex Workers' Union, Sergey Martinovich, and the author of these lines visited Chareyshchina at the machine yard. As of August 19, the farm had completed the grain harvest, and the machinery was directed to threshing the household plots.
Last year, Ruslan Grabovenka proved himself in the best possible way, becoming a "thousand-tonner," and it is pleasing that he has not lowered the bar this year either.
Almost everyone present at the machine yard at that time gathered to congratulate the harvest "guards." Certificates, bonuses, and gifts from the trade union... The entire ceremony took no more than fifteen minutes, after which everyone returned to their work.
And the villagers have plenty of work. After completing the grain threshing, there is no time to relax. Soon, the harvesting of spring rapeseed and corn for silage will begin. And most importantly – the sowing of winter grain crops – laying the foundation for next year's harvest...
The road then led to SVF "Zaazerye," where the combines were finishing another field beyond the village of Izabelino.
In general, the branch can be considered a forge of records. For instance, last year four crews in the farm became "thousand-tonners," and this year the first "thousand-tonners" are also from them, the crew of Petr Dukhovich and Artur Leyko.
Here, two combines approached the edge of the field. Sergey Kostiukovich and Alexander Misnik work on one of them. It was immediately noticeable that the machinery is not new; it has been working in the fields since 2007. It was very pleasing that the young men are not only excellent combine operators but also skilled technicians – to maintain an old machine in such working order, keeping it capable of setting records.
