During the meeting, the Prime Minister noted the positive dynamics of growth in mutual trade between the two countries. According to the results of the first nine months of the current year, the trade turnover between Belarus and Azerbaijan increased by more than 2.5 times and amounted to about $315 million.
"Cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation is also developing productively. One of the leading Azerbaijani enterprises that successfully operates in cooperation with Belarusian machine builders is the Ganja Automobile Plant. Since 2007, more than 11 thousand Belarusian tractors have been assembled at its facilities, as well as about 3.5 thousand units of other equipment from well-known Belarusian brands," said Roman Golovchenko.
According to the press service, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in intensifying and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
