From 11 to 15 June 2020, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region is conducting a set of preventive measures aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving two-wheeled motor vehicles, as well as those caused by drivers operating vehicles while intoxicated.
From 11 to 15 June 2020, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region is conducting a set of preventive measures aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving two-wheeled motor vehicles, as well as those caused by drivers operating vehicles while intoxicated.
In January-May 2020, 4 road traffic accidents caused by motorcyclists were registered in the Vitebsk region, in which 4 people sustained injuries of varying severity. No fatal accidents involving this category of road users were recorded.
However, despite the ongoing work to prevent road traffic accidents involving drivers of two-wheeled motor vehicles, from 1 to 7 June 2020, 2 road traffic accidents involving motorcycles occurred, in which 2 people were injured.
At the same time, the problem of driving vehicles by persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs remains relevant, as evidenced by the incidents registered this year.
