The State Automobile Inspectorate will organize a unified road safety day on August 30 under the slogan "To the new academic year – safe roads for everyone!"

  The campaign is aimed at preventing child road traffic injuries. To ensure safety near educational institutions during peak hours of pupil movement, the maximum number of traffic police patrols will be on duty, along with other public security police officers, members of the voluntary traffic police squad, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM), and young traffic inspectors' detachments.

  Furthermore, we remind you that until September 5, a special comprehensive event "Attention — Children!" is underway across the republic, during which drivers are obliged to switch on their low beam headlights or daytime running lights during daylight hours.
