From March 26 to 27, the Vitebsk region traffic police will hold a special event "Safe Region".
As part of the event, traffic police officers will be transferred to an enhanced duty regime from March 26 to 27. Inspectors will carry out operations on the main highways of the region under a mixed control regime to prevent traffic violations related to entering the oncoming traffic lane and exceeding speed limits. Work will also be aimed at preventing drunk driving.
Regarding pedestrians, traffic police officers will pay attention to their physical condition, as well as the presence of retroreflective elements during dark hours.
