Therefore, measures to prevent road traffic accidents (RTAs) must be comprehensive. A set of measures aimed at preventing RTAs involving pedestrians has recently concluded. However, the worsening traffic situation, associated with changing weather conditions, namely: early onset of darkness, increased fog, and so on, requires focusing attention on the strict observance of traffic rules by all road users.
RTAs involving pedestrians always have the most severe consequences, so their prevention is under constant control of the traffic police officers.
In view of the foregoing, until November 30, 2018, the State Automobile Inspectorate will be carrying out a set of measures aimed at preventing RTAs involving pedestrians throughout the Vitebsk region.
