The State Automobile Inspectorate is conducting a large-scale operation on the M3 highway.

From 31 January 2020 to 02 February 2020, the State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct a large-scale operation on the M3 (Minsk-Vitebsk) highway within the Lepel district.

From 31 January 2020 to 02 February 2020, the State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct a large-scale operation on the M3 (Minsk-Vitebsk) highway within the Lepel district.

The purpose of the event is to prevent road traffic accidents. Traffic police officers will monitor compliance by road users with the Traffic Regulations. Special attention will be paid to adherence to speed limits, passenger transportation rules (especially for children), identification of drunk drivers and persons without driving licenses, as well as the suppression of traffic violations by pedestrians, cyclists, and moped riders.

In addition, traffic inspectors will conduct information and awareness campaigns in work collectives on safe road behaviour, where they will discuss the main threats and risks for vulnerable road users, taking into account seasonal factors.
