The State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region is conducting measures to prevent road traffic accidents involving cyclists, persons using personal mobility devices, and motorcyclists.

Since the beginning of the year, 5 traffic accidents involving motorcyclists have been registered in the Vitebsk region.

During the event, the traffic police will strengthen control on patrol routes over the movement of cyclists, pedestrians, persons moving on personal mobility devices, as well as drivers of two-wheeled vehicles.

The traffic police reminds: personal mobility devices include electric scooters, hoverboards, monowheels, segways, and other similar devices.

It is necessary to move on them along the bicycle path, and in its absence – along the sidewalk, pedestrian path or roadside at a speed not exceeding 25 km/h. At the same time, obstacles to pedestrian traffic should not be created.
