The State Automobile Inspectorate reminds of the dangers and responsibility for drunk driving

Alcohol in the human body impairs one's ability to make balanced decisions and react quickly in emergency situations. These skills are particularly important for drivers.


  Driving requires maximum concentration and attentiveness, as the lives of the driver and passengers depend on compliance with traffic regulations.


  Even a few seconds of delay can lead to tragedy, especially when speeding. Remember that driving a vehicle while intoxicated is unacceptable!


  For driving a vehicle while intoxicated, the administrative penalty depends on the concentration of alcohol in the blood or its vapour in exhaled air: from 0.3 to 0.8 per mille – 100 base units with deprivation of the right to drive for 3 years; over 0.8 per mille – 200 base units with deprivation of the right to drive for 5 years.
