Driving a vehicle in winter conditions requires not only thorough preparation of the car but also a personal shift to a winter, calmer, and more careful driving style.

Sudden manoeuvres should be avoided, especially near pedestrian crossings, on curves, and on exposed sections of roads. Choose the safest speed mode. Increase the distance, and ensure everyone in the car is wearing a seatbelt.

As part of preventive raids, traffic police officers talk to drivers and also remind pedestrians about the reduction in daylight hours and the mandatory use of reflective elements.
