On November 22, Orsha / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. State subsidies for housing maintenance are provided regardless of the ownership form of the management company. This was stated by the Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Belarus, Andrei Shoretz, in an interview with a BELTA correspondent. "Technical maintenance includes a certain list of services, and their cost should be the same for both private and state-owned companies. House maintenance should be the same in the capital and in the provinces," the minister explained. At the same time, the price from a private company may be higher for several reasons. Firstly, the association does not want to seek budget support, as obtaining it requires submitting relevant calculations to the financial departments of executive committees. A certain part of associations submits such documents and receives subsidies at the same level as state housing organizations. Secondly, some associations have additional services: video surveillance, concierges, garages, which are not subsidized by the budget but are paid for by the residents. In addition, some associations have property that is leased out, and the association receives additional income, which is taken into account in state subsidization. "Therefore, it is not profitable for some owners' associations to apply for state subsidies," stated Andrei Shoretz. -0-
