4 December, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. The State Property Committee has prepared a draft decree on owner's supervision. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the committee. This draft decree provides for the appointment of authorized representatives to joint-stock companies where there is no state share. "The authorized representative will protect the rights of minority shareholders, our citizens," the State Property Committee noted, specifying that it concerns joint-stock companies that were established during the transformation process. This document has already been prepared and submitted to the Council of Ministers. The draft of this decree is part of a package of other documents concerning relevant changes to the legislative framework, the committee said. In particular, amendments will be made to the laws on economic societies and privatization. The committee also reported that a draft Presidential decree on the sale by tender of a block of shares in OJSC "Barhim" has been prepared. Two foreign companies have expressed interest in acquiring this enterprise. This year, shares of two enterprises have been put up for sale - OJSC "Negoreloye Wax Processing and Apiary Plant" by auction and OJSC "Slutsk Crane Repair Plant" by tender. There are already investors interested in these enterprises, the State Property Committee noted. -0-
