14 November, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. State control is checking the condition of machine yards in the farms of the Vitebsk region, BELTA was informed by the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control.
A specially created interdepartmental working group is monitoring the timeliness of putting machinery into storage at agricultural enterprises, ensuring its safety, maintaining the proper condition of machine yards, and the presence of checkpoints. The issues of landscaping machine yard territories are under special control.
To date, 16 agricultural enterprises in the Senno, Orsha, Verkhnedvinsk, and Braslav districts have been inspected, and numerous facts of violations and mismanagement have been uncovered. In particular, in many farms, complex agricultural machinery (grain and forage harvesters), and trailed units were not put into long-term storage in accordance with established requirements, the territory of the machine yards was not properly fenced, its lighting was insufficient, and there were no special areas for storing decommissioned equipment, scrap metal, and scrap tires.
"Based on the results of the inspections, the employees of the interdepartmental group made proposals to eliminate the violations to the farms, which allowed the situation to be corrected in a timely manner," noted the specialists, emphasizing that selective monitoring in the region's farms will continue, so responsible officials of agricultural organizations should take care of the condition of machine yards and the equipment entrusted to them in advance. Otherwise, strict measures will be taken against negligent managers.
Based on the results of the inspection, detailed information with conclusions and proposals will be submitted to the State Control Committee of Belarus and the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.-0-
